Role Description:
This is a direct hire or contract-to-hire Controller position on-site with our client based in Roswell, Georgia.
Candidates must have a strong construction background with knowledge of percentage complete computations and ASC 606. CPA with some major audit firm (national/regional) a plus. Core responsibilities will include:
- Financial operations - Oversee the company's financial operations, including:
- Reviewing and overseeing weekly payroll functions
- Reviewing and overseeing weekly accounts payable functions and preparing weekly disbursement runs
- Creating customer/jobs within ERP system
- Preparing and overseeing month-end closeout procedures
- Maintaining and updating WIP schedules monthly
- Reviewing and analyzing monthly financial statements
- Preparing current P&L, cash, cashflow forecast, AP & AR reports
- Preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial projections
- Preparing/submitting monthly/quarterly payroll tax returns, as necessary
Your Qualifications:
- CPA or MBA, preferred
- Construction industry experience
- Knowledge of percentage complete calculations and ASC 606
- 2+ years of controllership experience
- 7+ years of accounting experience; background in public accounting strongly preferred
- Willing to be on site.
- Ability to grasp new concepts quickly
